​​SPLATTER PAINT ROOM PARTICIPANT WAIVER 

All participants or their parent or guardian must be accounted for/listed on this waiver and signature of participant/parent/guardian required before entering the Paint Splatter Room.

By signing this waiver, I (we) agree to the following:

​

1. I have voluntarily elected to use and, if applicable, to allow the minor child(ren) identified below, to use the LK Art Bucket Paint Splatter Room (Art at the Rails LLC) and paint and equipment located at 2900 Main Street S, Rice Lake, Wisconsin.

2. In consideration for being allowed to use said facilities and equipment, and any other services provided by LK Art Bucket or its employees or agents at said location, I represent, acknowledge and agree as follows:

3. I fully understand and acknowledge that; (a) The Paint Splatter Room is not recommended for persons suffering from egg allergies or other unknown allergies; although the paint we use does not list egg as an ingredient it can be an ingredient in acrylic or tempera paint;

(b) risks and dangers exist in my use of The Splatter Room activities;

(c) my participation in such activities and/or use of such equipment may result in my injury or illness including but not limited to bodily injury, disease strains, fractures, partial and/or total paralysis, eye injury, blindness, heat stroke, heart attack, death or other ailments that could cause serious disability;

(d) I further acknowledge that the above list is not inclusive of all possible inherent risks associated with the use of the splatter room service equipment, and facilities,

(e) these risks and dangers may be caused by the negligence of the owners, employees, officers or agents of LK ART BUCKET; the negligence of the participants, the negligence of others, accidents, breaches of contract, forces of nature or other causes. These risks and dangers may arise from foreseeable or unforeseeable causes; and

(f) by my participation in these activities and/or use of equipment, I hereby assume all risks and dangers and all responsibility for any losses and/or damages, whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence or other conduct of the owners, agents, officers, employees of LK ART BUCKET, or by any other person.

4. I, on behalf of myself, my personal representatives and my heirs, herby voluntarily agree to release, waive, discharge, hold harmless, defend and indemnify LK ART BUCKET, ART AT THE RAILS LLC, CEDAR MALL AT RICE LAKE and it’s owners, agents, officers, and employees from any and all claims, actions, or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services or otherwise, which may arise out of my use of any of the activities provided by LK ART BUCKET. I specifically understand that I am releasing, discharging and waiving any claims or actions that I may have presently or in the future for negligent acts or other conduct by the owners, agents, officers or employees of LK ART BUCKET.

If the participant is of minority age, the undersigned parent or guardian hereby gives permission for LK ART BUCKET to authorize emergency medical treatment as may be deemed necessary for the child named below while participating in the spatter room from this date on.

5. I have read the waiver below and release and by accepting below I agree it is my intention to exempt and relieve LK ART BUCKET from liability for personal injury, property damage or wrongful death caused by negligence or any other cause. I understand that violation of any of the safety rules is grounds for immediate suspension of playing privileges without any refund.

RULES:

​1. No running, pushing, shoving, hitting or throwing containers at other participants

2. No food or drink unless previously arranged

3. Responsible (paid) adult must be in the splatter room with children age 12 and under.

Responsible adult MUST STAY in LK ART BUCKET store for children ages 13 to 17. No exceptions.

4. No standing on sink or chairs or rails

5. DO NOT STOMP ON, BREAK, OR damage the paint bottles.

6. No pulling or cutting of plastic wall coverings

7. No removing tape of plastic wall coverings

8. Do not remove LK ART BUCKET canvases or other wall Art or decorations

9. No outside paint supplies

10. Please do not randomly dump any leftover paint; please leave on rail

11. All participants must wear goggles or acceptable eyewear

12. Do NOT aim your squeeze bottle or paint at the lights, vent or sprinkler system.

13. Any guest who leaves any profanity, religious, or political remarks, names, or statements will be charged for replacement and permanently banned from the Paint Splatter Room.

 

Parents accompanying children are expected to assist in enforcing these rules.

 

Additional fees may be incurred if paint bottles or other items/walls, are damaged!

PHOTO USE:
I understand that as a public facility, pictures and or video may be taken by LK ART BUCKET staff or others, and I grant them the right to publish, and re-publish video, photographic portraits or pictures of me or my child(ren) in which I (we/they) may be included, in whole or in part.

Additional Information:

​​​​*NOTE*: The Splatter Room accommodates a maximum of 8 adults or a maximum 10 children aged 13 and under. 

 

If you have a group larger than 10, it will be split into two or three smaller groups accordingly. (One group waits while the other Splatter Paints and then the groups will switch. There are many other things to do in the mall while groups wait - Shopping, Mini Golf, Cafe, Escape Room, and we can set up a craft table for an additional $8 more per person. Craft options are Clay projects, Painting projects, Jewelry design, Mosaic tile Art)

​​CANVAS AND PAINT UPGRADES

Each paid participant will receive an 8x10 canvas with 5-6 colors of paint to use. You can upgrade to a larger canvas (11x14 $5, 16x20 $10) or request another small 8x10 ($3) canvas for an additional charge at the time of your visit. 

​

More paint? If you would like more paint during your visit, 6 more bottles of paint can be purchased for $10.

We do not offer refunds, but can offer a rescheduling of your Splatter Room time.
